A boy has been dating two girls, Mary and Nancy. From experience ha knows that:

(1) Mary, the spohisticate, like to go to more exclusive places where a date (3 hours) vill cost 12 dollar. Nancy, on the other hand, like more popular entertainment som that a date (3 hours) will cost 8 dollar.

(2) His budget allows 48 dollar per month for dates. His class work leaves at 18 hour and 4000 calories of his energy per month for social activities.

(3) Each date with Mary consumes 500 calories of energy, bot being more vivacious, Nancy takes twice that much.

If he expects 6 units of pleasure from a date with Mary and 5 units of pleasure from a date with Nancy, how must ha plan his social life in order to maximize pleasure? Assume that the number of dates is a continuous variable, so that it is possible to have a whole date as well as fractional date, or minidate.
